Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) dates back more than two thousand years and is an ageless health system based on the idea that energy, called Qi (pronounced “chee”) flows along pathways in the body known as meridians. If there is a blockage or imbalance of Qi in the meridians, illness can occur. These imbalances of Qi can be manifested as pain in the body (ie: migraines, headaches, musculoskeletal disorders), emotional upset, stress, chronic fatigue, poor digestion, an inability to sleep well, and more. Acupuncture, cupping and other modalities of TCM, are ways to access these meridians to unblock or nourish the pathways and activate your own body’s innate abilities to naturally heal itself.

I’m a Registered Doctor of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Acupuncturist and Sound Healer in so-called East Vancouver. Having completed a Doctorate of Traditional Chinese Medicine in Vancouver and an internship at Tzu Chi Hospital in Taipei, Taiwan, I am grateful and honoured to practice a cultural medicine of my ancestral heritage.
Through the many modalities of this East Asian Medicine, the goal is to activate your mind, body and spirit’s innate internal healing systems so that we bring balance and empowerment back into your life.
